IMPORTANT INFORMATION

WALK IN SESSIONS

The doors to the clinic open 30 minutes before the scheduled opening time.

These walk in sessions tend to be very busy and if all available slots are filled, you may not be seen that day. Please note at times of high demand, all slots may be filled within the first hour of opening meaning you may have to come back another day.

If the slots have been taken, we may ‘triage’ you by asking you to fill in the registration form to explain why you are here. Please fill this in truthfully so we can provide the best care for you. The form will be passed onto a nurse or doctor who will look at the form and decide whether you need to be seen today or whether it is best for you to make an appointment or come to another walk in day.

We advise you to turn up at the start of the clinic to give you the best chance of being seen. We are generally unable to take extra patients within the last hour of the clinic due to high demand.

APPOINTMENT CLINICS –

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your appointment time. This enables you to fill in your registration form before your appointment time starts.

Please give yourself plenty of time to find the location of your appointment and to find parking. Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust has plenty of parking locations but may be in high demand during peak times of the day.

If you are more than 5 minutes late, please be aware you may not be seen. If you are aware that you may be late, please call 01722 425120 so we can inform the nurse or doctor. The doctor or nurse that you are booked to see will make the final decision as to whether you can be seen.
